Wednesday

Happy Mom Goal:

Write down a list of positive things about yourself today. Things you do well, things you've accomplished in your life, things you like about yourself, etc; You'll be amazed at how long your list can get! Keep it somewhere special, and whenever you need a little encouragement, take it out and look it over!

Happy Kid Goal:

Teach your kids something new today. A new song, a poem you know, maybe even a little dance or hand clapping game. It's so fun to interact with them in that way!

Happy Husband Goal:

Today when your husband isn't looking, go out and clean out his car. Remove any trash, vacuum up the crumbs, wipe down the dash, and leave a new air freshener in it. It might be kinda hard to do this without him noticing, but do it if you can. He'll love it!

Happy House Goal:

How often do you move furniture and vacuum underneath it? If you're like me, it's not as often as it should be. If you can, slide a few pieces of furniture away from the wall and really get that carpet clean. Sure, it won't really show, but you'll feel great!

Dinner Tonight:

Broccoli Chicken Casserole
(submitted by Kira P.)
mix:
3/4 cup mayo
1 large can cream of chicken soup, or 2 small cans
1/4 cup lemon juice
4-5 chicken breasts - cooked and cubed
2 cups shredded cheese
Steam and add as much broccoli as you want and add to mixture.
Melt one stick of butter and mix one sleeve of crumbled saltine crackers. Pour over casserole.
Bake @ 375 degrees for 25-30 mins.

Today's Pep Talk

Be yourself! I know we've all been hearing this our whole lives, but it's so important and it certainly applies to motherhood! How will your children ever be able to find themselves if they don't even know their own mother? If you're goofy, be a goofy mom! Be who you are as you rear your children, and it will show through in them. And you'll have a lot more fun through the years to come!
