It's a new week!

Mondays can be depressing. Cheer up! Let's get to our goals!
Happy Mom Goal:
If your kids take a nap, take one too! If not, lie down for a bit while your kids are watching a movie or at school. 15 minutes does wonders!
Happy Kid Goal:

Fingerpaint with your child. They'll love it. After they're dry, frame the pictures and hang them in yours or your child's room.
Happy Husband Goal:

A quick phone call to your husband while he's a work will brighten both of your day! If he's super busy, send him a text to have him call you on his lunch break. It's nice to have a little chat with each other during the day.

Happy House Goal:

Is your laundry room clean? I don't just mean dirty laundry. Is there clutter that you stashed there sometime? Maybe a ton of dust on top of the dryer? Take the laundry out of the picture, and straighten up all the other stuff that's accumulated in there. You'll be much happier after it's done. If your laundry room is already clean.....way to go! You get a break today.

Dinner Tonight:

Super Nachos!

1 pound hamburger

dash of each of the following spices: garlic powder, chili powder, salt & pepper, dried minced onions

1 can refried beans

1 diced tomato

1 can diced chilis

1 pint sour cream

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

some shredded lettuce

tortilla or pita chips

Brown your hamburger in a pan with all the spices listed above. In a pan, spread out the refried beans and layer the cooked hamburger on top of that. Top with cheese and bake @350 degrees for 5 minutes.

Put out bowls of all the toppings and allow your family to put whatever they want on their chips. It's easy, it's fun, and my kids love it!

Today's Pep Talk

I know it's a Monday, and if you're like me, you're sad to see the weekend go. But, now you get to start brand-new and have an awesome week. Don't worry about the week as a whole, just take it one day at a time. Before you know it, it'll be over and it'll be another weekend! To make your day really good, spend some time with your children. Don't spend so much time on your house, your computer, your errands etc; Chill out and have a little fun with those amazing kids of yours. You'll both enjoy your day a lot more!
